Mike's coaching philosophy:
My goal as a coach is to help athletes define themselves in sport and to find a style that suits them best. To do this I base my coaching philosophy around one simple principle.....fun. I've had many different coaches and mentors in my years skiing and they've all taught me different things. One principle everyone had in common was fun. I believe that combining proper coaching techniques with a safe environment to learn in and providing a positive, fun atmosphere,will help kids learn the fundamentals of skiing, boost their confidence and comfort levels and further develop their skills on and off the mountain.
