The KNSR K1 Program is a comprehensive Program offered to 11 and 12 year old participants. This Program offers athletes:
Thursday night SKILLS session (6:00 p.m. - 8 p.m.)
Friday afternoon Training sessions (1:45 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Saturday and Sunday training and technical skiing sessions (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
Depending on the choice of Program (this Program also incorporates options with the SkierX and All Mountain Programs) participants are offered an extensive Program to continue the development of their skiing skills in a supportive, safe, and creative learning environment. In addition to skiing skills, the athletes will be introduced to the basic tactical, psychological, and physical skills.
The Kinder 1 Program, depending upon options chosen, will offer athletes competitions throughout the Kootenays as well as BC. These competitions are optional and the choice is made by the parent whether to attend or not.
Our K1 Program is coached by highly experienced coaching staff with extensive experience at this level.
